For a long term project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for a German Speaking DB Automation Expert with PM Experience (2661)
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with large scale databases and has experience in project management of complex/large scale environments. Our client is looking for a PM with technical hands-on capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- To assume responsibility for the project management of the individual work streams as directed by the Programme Director
- To achieve high performance on all aspects of project delivery, in line with commitments made
- Define, communicate, execute & monitor the project plan, schedule and prioritise specific and individual activities in line with agreed requirements and define appropriate work packages and key milestones
- Manage the project through risk planning establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency plans communicated to the Programme Manager and key Stakeholders
- Establishing and embedding benefit realisation management for the project using an appropriate and industry recognised methodology for the purpose of delivering the strategic objectives defined in the programme
- To meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
Education and Experience (10 years+):
- Proven experience in project management of complex environments
- Deep knowledge of large scale databases
- Experience in projects with infrastructure cloud would be an advantage
- Must have proven experience in IT infrastructure and DBMS (Oracle and MS-SQL - latest release versions)
- Fluent English and German
