Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create Automation & Performance test strategies; drive and own the implementation of each strategy
- Partner with product leadership to manage the pipeline of work.
- Define and drive implementation of an Automated Test Platform.
- Participates in the implementation and continuous improvement of agile policies, process and procedures necessary to deliver reliable products to our customers
- Manage and improve automated test frameworks
- Promote Automation and Performance QA best practices.
- Work with both business and technology partners, understanding requirements and ensuring they are validated successfully.
- As/if needed, co-ordinate project activities across various geographies and teams
- In this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable following the best practices of agile/waterfall analysis and development.
- Ability to work as part of an interactive, collaborative team as well as independently.
- Work effectively with a geographically dispersed virtual team.
- Demonstrate leadership and be an effective mentor for junior team members.
Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in using and developing Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, WatiN, Sahi
- Expert with Web Application and Database Automation tools
- Awareness of both current and developing technologies across the industry
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven Relationship Management experience with globally distributed stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate would be innovative and have great problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Experience of Agile projects and tools such as JIRA, Rational Team Concert
- Self-motivated individual, who can drive actions and obtain results
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building/management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, regardless of the technical level of the audience.
- Proven track record of implementing industry best practices and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality results.
- Ability to work across a global team, and manage tasks for other team members.
