Description
My client based in Berkshire requires a Test Technician for an immediate start on an initial 6 month contract.
The purpose of the position is to increase function capability with regards to product diagnostics comprising complex RF, Analogue and digital circuits.
You will use test instrumentation, fixtures and equipment to perform fault diagnostics on RF, Digital and Analogue circuits & assemblies in a dynamic customer support environment and provide technical support and guidance to automatic test station operators.

Responsible for efficient and effective product diagnostics comprising RF, digital and analogue circuits

Responsible for accurate data collection associated with diagnostic findings and solutions.

Provide feedback to management, engineers and peers regarding diagnostics, processes and tools

Proven experience in RF, digital and analogue circuit diagnostics to component level in quality focused production and customer support environments.

Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical information, engineering drawings and schematics.

Proven ability to schedule and prioritise work when presented with challenging targets to meet customer requirements.

Proven experience in conducting technical analysis, communicating findings, conclusions and recommendations.

Proven experience with mechanical disassembly and assembly of product to given standards

Proven experience in setting up and using test instrumentation to replicate ATE failures for diagnostics purposes.

Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical information, engineering drawings and schematics.
