The Company: We are a growing web-based service company based in Houston, TX. We provide affordable real estate investing leads, training, and tools to investors around the country. Established in 2005, we were recently included in the Inc 5000 list of America's fastest growing private businesses.
The Position: We are growing our development team to re-build and maintain our membership websites from the ground up using Agile Scrum methodology. We are seeking experienced web applications developer with strong background in web design and application management. This position offers a full-time, long-term workload with a flex-schedule, telecommuting option. You are not required to reside in Houston, TX, but may be asked to travel to Houston for special projects on occasion. We offer competitive hourly pay commensurate with relevant experience and skill set.
Position Requirements:
- Object Oriented Programming in PHP 5.4+ (SOLID principles)
- Laravel Framework v4.2+
- PostgreSQL (or strong relational database experience)
- CSS and preprocessors (LESS prefered)
- JavaScript (and jQuery+plugins)
- Similar timezone (GMT-6)
Strong Preference:
- PHPUnit (and Mockery)
- Previous experience on a team utilizing Scrum
- Working knowledge of Git (and GitHub)
- Experience with deployment systems (Rocketeer)
- 3rd Party API integrations (SOAP+REST)
