We are a UK based, international IT company that is looking to launch a new brand and web platform in the area of art and designer furniture trading.This is a re-post of a previously posted job as the cooperation with the selected freelancer didn’t work out well. We engaged a freelancer from India and the cooperation was a mess: No deliverables, many delays, several missed deadlines. We therefore really need a reliable contractor that has done this type of job before and is trustworthy.
A professional designer has created the company’s logo, brand identity and web design. We are now looking for a WordPress theme developer that is able to take this design and implement it as a WordPress theme that is fully WooCommerce compatible for our website / platform. Additionally we also use a number of other plug-ins such as ImportAll and WPML that need to be compatible with the theme, as well.
The freelancer should therefore have experience with WordPress theme / child theme development, WooCommerce and a good flair for design and esthetics. Ideally, the freelancer also has experience with WordPress plug-in and API development as there may also be plug-ins that need to be implemented at a later stage in the project.
The initial project scope will consist of the WordPress theme / child theme implementation, including a number of widgets that will need to be displayed in line with the designer’s web design outline and guidelines. WooCommerce needs to be fully functional with the implemented website and the ImportAll and WPML plugins also need to work. Upon successful completion of this first job, there will be additional work around this platform in the future in the area of e.g. API and plug-in development.
