Civil Project Engineer - 6 months Inside IR35
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous Transmission experience required.
- 3+ years' experience working within civil engineer project role.
- Qualified to a minimum of HND level in Electrical Engineering.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate diligence and prioritise tasks, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM and ESQCR, and the implications of this for Transmission network management.
- Candidates should be Chartered Engineers or working towards this.
- Provide civil engineering support across multiple projects by creating outline designs during development.
Phases
- Including site/route selection, ground investigation specification, earthworks designs, public road upgrade, landscaping and access for proposed assets.
- Define the scope of engineering design, as well as validate and verify the engineering design and construction and installation for assigned projects.
- Develop scope of works and detailed specifications, supporting site teams to ensure the quality of installations.
- Evaluate tenders and scope, procure, and manage specialist services.
