Description
My client in Ghent seeks a Data Architect on a freelance/contract basis
- Responsible for creating target architecture aligned within data architecture and migrating Citizen development.
- Data architect Azure with deep understanding of Azure Analytics stack.
- Collaborate with multiple product teams to provide architecture leadership and support.
- Ability to produce designs and set up environments, with leadership skills for technical discussions with Business Stakeholders and Enterprise Architecture.
- Provide technical leadership, participate in development efforts, and represent platform capabilities internally and externally.
- Active member of architects guild, overseeing data management process and guiding development teams.
- Responsible for design and documentation of solution within domain.
- Proficient in Databricks, ADLS storage, SQL DB, ADF, and Power BI.
- Define and own end-to-end scalable Data Architecture considering enterprise architecture and industry standards.
- Contribute to development of data architectures, strategies, and policies, including data security.
- Develop, document, and maintain logical and physical data models.
- MUST be able to work in Ghent on-site 50% of the time
Skills
- Minimum 4 years in Data Architecture.
- Proficient in SQL, data modelling, and Data Architecture design.
- Experience with Power BI and Azure components (ADFv2, Databricks, Synapse, Delta lake).
- Knowledge of Azure Advanced Analytics technologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and Microsoft cloud-based delivery model.
- Familiarity with Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, API or microservice deployment, DevSecOps, and Agile.
- Experience in global environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (C1 level).
