Description
I am working with a Maritime company that are currently dominating the offshore vessel market and have won a number of projects that require extra resources.
The client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 6 month contract with potential extension.
This role is outside IR35. This role is based in Gateshead.
The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have subsea/marine experience and a strong background in EC&I.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design
- Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan
- Electrical schematic drawing
- Knowledge of HV and LV systems
- Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Experience designing Vessels is desirable but not essential
- Experience of the Subsea/Renewables is desirable but not essential
