To be successful in this role you MUST possess the following skills:-
- Wet works plumbing
- Decorating
- Tiling
- Basic joinery
- Kitchen/bathroom repairs and installations
- Small plaster repairs
Lonsdale Contracts also have a specialist division undertaking wet room installations, accessible bathing facilities and access adaptions to residential properties.
Our preference would be to find a suitable candidate that satisfies the below criteria.
- hold an NVQ Level 2 (minimum) or City and Guilds in Plumbing
- have experience in working in tenanted properties
- have the ability to demonstrate a high level of customer focus especially within an installation and repairs maintenance service
- be able to work within a successful team and have good communication skills
Additional skills such as Gassafe or Electrical/Part P qualification would be beneficial.
A professional outlook and excellent customer-facing skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well both individually and in a team.
