My client is a leading company in the wind energy industry, providing specilised energy services.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our wind turbine facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring efficient and safe production, and maximizing our contribution to clean energy generation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of wind turbine operations, including maintenance, scheduling, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure the health and safety of personnel, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and motivate a team of operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in wind turbine operations.
  • A strong understanding of gearbox operations and maintenance is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the wind energy industry.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the wind energy industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
  • A strong understanding of gearbox operations and maintenance is a highly desirable qualification.
