Job Title: SAP GTS Consultant (Global Trade Services)Duration: Remote – 6 months + potential for long-term engagement

Project Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled SAP GTS Consultant to join their team remotely. The project involves revamping an outdated GTS environment and streamlining customer processes. The client aims to initiate a business redesign process phase and transition to implementing lead processes within a pure GTS environment. There are existing legacy systems handling customer development tasks, along with a couple of standalone Java applications. The primary goal is to establish a new GTS environment.
Key Requirements:
• Proficiency in SAP Global Trade Services.
• Extensive experience with SAP Global Trade Systems.
• Background in customs processes and knowledge of trade compliance.
• Ability to understand ABAP code, though not necessarily a technical expert.
• Additional expertise in customs process knowledge, particularly within North American legal requirements, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the client to understand current processes and requirements.
• Analyse existing GTS environment and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for streamlining customer processes within GTS.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Provide guidance and support during the transition to the new GTS environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the project.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as an SAP GTS Consultant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of customs processes and trade compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in SAP Global Trade Services is a plus.
