Job Description:
As a Technical Architect in Data Center and Cloud technologies, you will be pivotal in analyzing technological needs, proposing and implementing improvements, and ensuring that our IT architecture aligns with our corporate goals to support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Design and Implementation: Develop and implement architectural standards and guidelines within an existing framework, focusing on performance, availability, and disaster recovery.
• Technology Selection and Management: Choose appropriate technologies based on functional requirements while ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Best Practices and Strategy Alignment: Enhance business cases with your architectural expertise, align initiatives with IT roadmaps, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Solution Validation and Procurement: Engage in IT procurement processes, from specifying technical requirements to evaluating technical proposals, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively propose improvements to enhance IT landscape maintainability, stability, and performance.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in IT architecture, particularly in data center and cloud environments.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, MPLS, VRF, SDN, routing & switching, endpoint security, NAC, user VPN, PKI, IPAM, and advanced networking technologies including Cisco SD Access stack (DNA, ISE), Infoblox, Algosec, Cisco security products (FMC, WSA), and F5 technologies (LTM, APM, ASM).

Problem Solving:
• Convert functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Use your expertise to drive optimizations and influence stakeholder decisions.
• Operate independently, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise architecture and compliance with governance standards.

Communication:
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders including managers, project teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Share knowledge and encourage best practices within the organization.
• Language Requirements:
• Fluency in French or Dutch and English, both oral and written, is essential.

Work Mode:
• Hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in Brussels.
