Key responsibilities but not limited to: -


  • Reporting to the management team, supervise and oversee the warehouse operation in its entirety.
  • Ensure Goods are receipted in a timely fashion and in accordance with internal best practice.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in line with standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Maintain stock accuracy in line with our internal KPI’s.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement focused and inquisitive by nature. Identifying and implementing process improvements, efficiencies, and optimisations.
  • Ensure compliance with all site HSEQ rules and regulations.
  • Conduct Return to Work (RTW) meetings with direct reports as required and support the management team with monthly 1-2-1 check ins.
  • Proficient in the use of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and all stock related functions.
  • Encourage and motivate all direct reports to maximise engagement and productivity.
  • Drive productivity by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver unrivalled customer service levels ensuring all issues are investigated with corrective actions and improvements identified.
  • Ensuring the pick, pack and despatch operation is completed in its entirety and in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Delivering Tool box talks
  • A passion for developing direct reports, coaching and succession planning.

Background and Experience


  • A proven track record as a Warehouse Supervisor is essential. 
  • Competent in the use of Warehouse Management Systems – experience of Sage 200 would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional people person who can engage with the team, motivate, and inspire.
  • Culturally aware the successful candidate would need to demonstrate that they are aligned to company values. 
  • Proactive self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
  • Persuasive operator with excellent influencing skills. 
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, maintain and exploit strong internal and excellent external relationships at all levels.
  • FLT license advantageous.
  • Full UK driving License
