Looking for a SAP MDG Program Project Manager for one of my massive clients based in Den Haag/United States
The Project Manager for MDG program will play a key role in selection and rolling out of the SAP Master Data Governance Tool to the relevant businesses. Currently the project is in the selection phase and in the process of conducting a Proof of Assessment of the MDG product along with SAP and R1 business as the initial scope Item. This is the right time to on-board a senior project manager to manage the product selection and contracting process and subsequently roll out to the solution to multiple business starting with Report 1. This will be a multiyear project once the product is selected. The senior project manager is expected to perform the following activities:
Job Description:
The Project Manager for MDG program will play a key role in selection and rolling out of the SAP Master Data Governance Tool to the relevant businesses. Currently the project is in the selection phase and in the process of conducting a Proof of Assessment of the MDG product along with SAP and R1 business as the initial scope Item. This is the right time to on-board a senior project manager to manage the product selection and contracting process and subsequently roll out to the solution to multiple business starting with Report 1. This will be a multiyear project once the product is selected. The senior project manager is expected to perform the following activities:
- Manage the Proof of Assessment for the Scope items along with SAP and business with assistance from functional BA from business as well as the Data platform
- Involve in the contract negotiation with the vendor along with the C&P team to ensure all the business and IT requirements are covered appropriately
- Schedule and run the project review, steering committee and decision review board meetings
- Responsible for preparing a project plan in discussion with business and project team and execute the same
- Responsible for managing and reporting the project financials
- Responsible for managing the scope and timelines of the project
- Responsible for completing all stage gate deliverables and project documentation
Skills & Requirements:
- Demonstrated IT project management skills (project intake, resource demand planning, budget management)
- Strong IT management and analysis skills
- Good knowledge of SAP tools and have experience in implementing project in any of the SAP products. MDG/MDM experience would be preferred
- Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service
- Demonstrated skill running effective meetings and getting buy-in and participation from executive leaders
- Facilitate governance, project reviews, and other Delivery related meetings
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' full project life cycle experience of projects/programs in SAP products
- Good knowledge of master data management process and tools
- Good understanding of the integration points between various SAP and Non SAP systems
- Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA
- Understanding of IT project management and project delivery methodology, including agile
- Understanding of IT security and compliance
- Understanding of system development life cycle methodology
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Organized and methodical. Ability to plan and implement according to plan
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
- PMI/Prince 2 certification

- This role reports to the IT Portfolio Manager/ITM - Data Platforms
- There are no direct reports to this
Mandatory Skills:
Project Management (minimum of 6 projects as the overall PM over a 8-10+ years career)
SAP MDM MDG (minimum 2 to 4 times) as the PM
Finance and Accounting MDM (2+ times) as the PM
S4 HANA integration with SAP MDM MDG for Finance/CFO's function as the PM
Worked with CFO and Controller/Group Reporting stakeholders
