Lead Developer/SCRUM Master - Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation, IA and RPA

Rate/Salary: £480 per day gross. Contract will run through umbrella. Client will pay employer's NI on top of gross rate to the umbrella.

My client is a leading Financial Services organisation and is currently using Intelligent Automation to provide ground breaking tools to deliver sustainable business value. This role will work as part of a newly formed, dynamic and multi-skilled team that will design, build and execute an automation strategy using PEX, Robotic Process Automation, Digital and AI tools.

As a member of the Intelligent Automation Delivery Team, this role will work to progress our client's Intelligent Automation agenda and embed innovation across the business, working with the business to design, develop and run automated tools to maximise business benefits.

Specifically, this role will lead the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of automation solutions, ensuring development activity is executed in accordance with the methodologies and design standards as set by the Centre of Excellence.

The role will also act as Scrum Master for Delivery teams throughout the delivery life cycle, to ensure automation/process optimisation solutions are delivered and maintained in line with Centre of Excellence methodologies, design standards and tools

Required skill set

  • Minimum of 12 months developing and implementing automated Blue Prism processes as an accredited developer
  • A strong understanding of Agile with a minimum 6 months performing scrum master role.
  • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution
  • A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines
  • Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the Blue Prism product
  • Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment
  • Knowledge of business process modelling and reengineering (desirable)
  • Excellent PC and MS Office skills, especially MS Excel, V-Lookups and macros
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload with a keen attention to detail
  • Able to build strong relationships with peers, business counterparts and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with communicating to people of all levels and able to gain the confidence of key stakeholders.
  • Able to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
