First of all, what is LIMS?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

LIMS or Laboratory Information Management System<\/em>, is a type of software-based solution<\/strong> designed to effectively manage laboratory samples <\/strong>and the data <\/strong>associated with them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This system provides users with a way to accurately store records <\/strong>of each sample and store it securely<\/strong>. LIMS can also be used to automate laboratory workflows <\/strong>which in turn improves lab productivity and efficiency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A LIMS consultant is in charge of the configuration <\/strong>and support <\/strong>of a LIMS <\/strong>for a company. They analyse end user requirements,<\/strong> tailor LIMS solutions<\/strong> and implement <\/strong>them through configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They deal with LIMS software installations <\/strong>and configurations and are in charge of their upkeep. Consultants also elicit and prioritize business needs and recommend solutions<\/strong> that meet these needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
