Saying no to non-essential activities can help you save time for the things that really matter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, it can give you a chance to take a break and focus on your own well-being &#8211; something that is crucial, especially if you\u2019re feeling rundown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also important to stay mindful of how many projects you take on as a freelancer at any given time. Even if a project is tempting, if you already have a heavy workload, say no!<strong> It\u2019s not worth the risk of burnout.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"childcare-self-employed\">Childcare as Self-Employed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Different countries have different criteria when it comes to childcare as a self-employed individual.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Europe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots of countries in Europe offer parents childcare benefits. For example, in the <strong>UK<\/strong>, you may be entitled to tax-free childcare. You can receive up to<strong> \u00a3500 every 3 months (up to \u00a32,000 a year)<\/strong> for each of your children for the purposes of childcare. There are of course stipulations for tax-free childcare and eligibility usually depends on things like work status, income, child\u2019s age, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly in Germany, you can benefit from &#8216;<strong>Kindergeld<\/strong>&#8216; or German Childcare Benefit.
