Recent Project :
Our Client is using Oracle database system as a system of record; recently we implemented salesforce for the sales Team.
Before Salesforce Implementaion : Sales Team used to get the orders from customers , create the data like account(if it is a new customer), contact and address of shipment etc and will place an order
After Salesforce Implementation : When Sales Team got an order from the new customer, he need to create an account,contact and address will create in salesforce and place an order immediately.
Back ground : when account,contact and address is created in salesforce , created WSDL files to create records in oracle and update the salesforce with the oracle ID .created a batch job to run daily to create records in oracle and update the id’s in salesforce.
Second Scenario : In Opportunities , Products is a related list .
when the user hovers on the product related list,the clients need to create a new record and also need to display list of products related to that opportunity. for this created a VF page and used java scripting to display records and for creating the new records.
