Chemical Engineer

Before engineer degree I worked as analyst in a EH&S company, and later in the Quality Assurance Department of one of the bigger and important bottling company (PepsiCo-Venezuela). There I performed both routine tasks and special developments in the processes area. Once graduated as Chemical Engineer I gained experience in massive consume and projects sectors. In the first, developing tasks in the production, raw material and finished product areas, developing procedural manuals and studies for improvements to production processes. In the second, inspection of construction sites, preparation of budgets with specialized software, elaboration of construction contract offers, and later in the formulation and technical and economic evaluation of projects in various different areas. Currently, close to completing the MSc in Chemical Engineering, I work in the EPC sector as project and design engineer in the energy area (production and processing of hydrocarbons and generation of electrical energy).

Conceptual, basic and detail engineering in energy area projects. Design, evaluation and optimization of Processes, Equipment, Pipelines and Instrumentation in EPC projects. Simulation and design of processes with specialized software (ProII, Hysys, Pipephase,Inplant, UniSim, Autocad, others). Generation of PFD, P&ID and engineering documents (Equipment Data Sheet, Mass and Energy Balances, Processes Description, Operation and Control Philosophy, Equipment, Instrumentation and Piping Lists, Calculation Reports,.)  

Academic formation and experience in production and processing of hydrocarbons. Knowledge of enhanced of heavy and extra heavy oil. Management of oil and energy industry. Experience in massive consume industry. 

Formulation, investigation and development of strategic projects in different areas.
