SAP Test Manager; Test Governance Manager; Test Lead

Overall SAP Test Manager at Burberry, responsible for establishing a more formal approach to SAP
testing, introducing and owning test tooling, and integrating testing with the Digital and Retail
teams. Also hands-on Test Manager and Defect Manager on various mid to large projects.
* Created the SAP Test Strategy to establish processes and best practices to improve quality of
testing.
* Test / Defect Manager on a SuccessFactors rollout to 33 countries, working hand in hand with
the Service Integrator. Over-seeing the testing and running daily defect triage calls
throughout its SIT and UAT phases to allow timelines to be met.
* Researched best in class test management and automation tools. Worked with suppliers on
contracts, ran Proof of Concept and worked on ROI calculations on automation tool to ensure
best tool selected.
* Product owner for the Micro Focus ALM test management tool; ran training sessions, reviewed,
approved and loaded test cases, created reports, customised screens, and performed all
administration duties - resulting in consistent use of tooling and best practices across
projects.
* Helped implement test automation using Tricentis Tosca as starting point for Continuous Testing.

* Working alongside a Service Integrator/Consultancy, as the Test Lead / Manager on various
projects within GSK's worldwide SAP implementation. Being a pharmaceutical company, much of the
focus was on Test Governance, reviewing and approving the test cases, checking the requirement
coverage, and confirming if they were executed to the expected standards.
* Responsible for running entry/exit meetings, writing Test Plans and Test Reports, and involved in
updating and reviewing the overall Test Strategy, as well as many guidance documents.
* Used Quality Center for creating test cycles and baselines and capturing and linking requirements
to show coverage, as well as using the standard Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects and Dashboard
modules.
* Travelled to India to work with the off-shore team guiding them on GSK processes and procedures.

* Managed testing efforts for EDS applications which integrated with HP data systems. Ensured
deadlines met, identified and acted upon project risks. Produced weekly reports for senior
management based on Quality Center metrics, and hosted weekly Quality Center training sessions.

* Managed a global team of testers across multiple time-zones who were responsible for functional
and stress testing of the SAP system. Coordinated the testing work across various projects,
ensuring high levels of quality, and also involved in hands-on testing.

* Lead tester for the HR and Finance modules. Created and reviewed test cases, trained and mentored
colleagues. Led on various projects, such as Support Packs, Country Roll-outs and SAP Upgrades.

* Jointly managed the internal business reporting functions of the Defence Project Office,
compiling business data and analysing causes and effects.

* Produced daily sales figures for the company's stores. Extensive use of spread sheets for the
production of reports and budgets.

* Management of staff, cellar and bar, and carried out staff training.

* Responsible for accounts preparation, supervision and training of staff, and audit work on small
to multi-million pound turnover companies.
