As test manager I am responsible for the testing of all physical security systems (CCTV, building management, intrusion detectection, etc.) and ther interfaces (from SAP HR to the central Security Room of the EPO. This was for me a new and very technical environment but prooved to be extremel interesting.
Projects I have t´done in this area:
introduction of a new card management system and cashless payment system,
Installation of Winguard and Agent Vi with interfaces to all existing security systems
Automation and security of the parking area
and currently a migration of all systems to a new remote datacenter

Role: testing coach and testmanager
As project manager Improvement projects I redesigned and implemented the way of working for several
ITIL areas (incident management, problem management and change management) as well as the
configuration management
The workload varies from extremely technical applications, to SAP modules FI-CO and HCM
One of the major issues was the lack of quality of the (outsourced) service desk in Morocco. After
implementing the new ways of working, negotiating new SLAs and training the staff, the customer
satisfaction reviews showed a considerable improvement (from 35% to 75%). Since there was no
internal candidate for the role as service manager I stayed on until a suitable candidate was found.
I trained him to take over the position
As I was constantly confronted with the impact of the applications that were moved into production I
started by implementing an improvement plan, consisting of better integration and preproduction
testing, usage of relevant tooling (HP ALM) and reporting.
I managed a testing project as an example and after that trained and coached the staff .

NXP Software is a complex, multi cultural, multi site organization with sites in the Netherlands,
Belgium, France and India. These sites have moved during this period towards the use of one project
management methodology and one Quality Manual.

Challenge of the assignment as Testmanager
NXP Software is a complex, multi cultural, multi site organization with sites in the Netherlands,
Belgium, France and India. The algorithm development was done in Belgium and France (testing
included), the actual development and tuning of the IP was done in India(testing was done against
the technical requirements set up in Belgium) and the integration and end user tests were performed
in Belgium and the Netherlands.

I set up a testing framework applicable for all projects. Based on TMAP, and adapted for the cross
