Client is undertaking an initiative to implement a migration project from Cognos BI to Business objects. This is to unify the Reporting system of two groups within organization, which were working as two separate companies before.
In the current environment there are multiple reporting platforms used by different teams. This was a Proof of Concept executed for a leading IT firm.
The goal was to implement Business Intelligence using the Sales and Trade Promotions data, to demonstrate the Cognos reporting capabilities.
The key objective was to measure and analyze the Revenue and Performance of Agents depends on sales of a particular product of Airline.
 
Cognos Framework manager was used to design the model with MS SQL Server 2005 as the database. Cognos Report studio 8.4 was used to develop the reports.
