The project addressed the use of methods such as digital / new communication channels (social media) for politics and business processes in the city administration. The aim of the software is the automated analysis, evaluation and presentation (visualization) of the social media data, as well as the simulation of impact of decisions. The data are "big data" in the sense of the "3V" definition (Volume, Velocity and Variety), so that in addition to standard components such as web technologies (Apache, Java, Flash, ...) SAP HANA is also a high-performance database was used with appropriate tools. The solution is operated in the cloud and deployed as a software as a service (SaaS) (i.e., browser based).

a) Planning and implementation of the new system environment and the data center
The existing data center (main data center and failure data center) were re-planned to be well equipped for the expansion of the system landscape.
b) Implement a new network infrastructure (WAN and LAN). The existing network infrastructure has been completely replaced by CISCO routers / switches and upgraded to high speed (100MB / Gigabit).
c) Roll out Office Automation: MS Office and email at all workstations
d) re-tendering of a system for the branches (retail)
Extensive planning and creation of an RFP for the new system, as well as business process reengineering (modernization) of the bank-technical processes
e) Recertification and implementation of a treasury system including a new infrastructure for the department
f) Recertification and implementation of systems for accounting, payroll and HR
Specifically, accounting was rolled out for Accounting ORACLE Financials, and a local system was selected for payroll accounting / HR that could best meet the legal requirement.
g) Optimization of existing applications (ATM-ATM, credit card processing, MICR)
h) Reconception of the website and the website
