Project Description
This application is a pure java based that integrates with Apache Axis Web Service.
Logic is written in MII transactions and dynamically generated WSDL of transaction is used to call the transaction in the Java code or from client side.
 
It helps operators/Users to scan the BARCODE against each material and helps in staging of Raw Material from one storage location to another plus application provides KPI Dashboards and some links to the existing role based MES applications at site ,it also provides  necessary actions (such as Post confirmations receipts back in SAP).

Project Description
This is the global dashboard application deployed on Corporate server of client integrated all 23 Production servers KPI dashboards.
 
PI servers are first set up and shared the connections to Corporate Server as well, reason because of creating connection profiles in MII or data servers pointing OLEDB connections of a PI server of a particular plant/site.
 
PI Tags gathers real time/historian values and gathered in PI server by means, queries are written to fetch the values on MII and function the dashboards accordingly.

Asset Availability Application Development and roll out on 8 MII Production Servers.

Project Description
This application is required by Business in context of proper and better utilization of Assets at Plant Site.
This application is purely based on concept of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and calculates Availability of the units at plant on “Planned Production Time” and scrutinizes efficiency and productive losses that occur during Units run, so with the goal of reducing or eliminating these losses. Down Time loss is one of the category of loss that has been considered here.
 
Availability takes into account Down Time Loss, which includes any Events that stop planned production for an appreciable length of time (usually several minutes - long enough to log as a track able Event). Examples include equipment failures, material shortages, and changeover time (Batch Swap phase or time). Changeover time is included in OEE analysis, since it is a form of down time. While it may not be possible to eliminate changeover time, in most cases it can be reduced.
 
100% Availability means the process has been running without any recorded stops.
 
Losses generated in PI/DCS Units/Sub Units during manufacturing that comes as a difference between the best run time (this has to be set by business) and Normal run time of a particular batch or a particular phase in PI Server that has to be pushed by business.
Generated losses needs to be allocated by Operators or users with proper comments and loss reasons (downtime codes) to ensure the better availability and efficiency of Assets present at Plant site.

Material Request Report : Performance improvement Solution

Project Description
Operators use this application to request a material that is currently not available at shop floor from storage location. A guy at storage location receive the request via Material Request Dashboard and transfers the material physically to the plant from a particular storage location and same updates through MII application to SAP ERP via BAPI calls.
 
Application was extremely slow initially in terms of performance due to obsolete and bad design and coding.
I changed the current design platform and included IFRAME and XSL UI technology that is way lighter than applets and java script dynamic table generation and easy to code as well.
Application performance was improved by 99% against benchmarked results.

This application is used to schedule Production Orders based on the Finish Date or Planned End date from ERP.
It used to be very cumbersome for the scheduling managers to schedule a Production Order from let suppose 50thposition to 2nd position based on MII sequence Number because User had to hop one by one and clicks approx 50 times a button to reach that Production Order to the 2nd position.
 
I came up an idea to use JQUERY SORTABLE API to just Drag and Drop the row selected to the desired position directly without clicking anything.
 
User satisfaction was improved by 100%

Project Description
This is one of the applications used at Shop floor to raise issues by Operators, shop floor managers and engineers such as repair concerns at assembly lines, control offices and factory floor offices et-cetera.
Screen is provided at every work center for Operators as well as it is available for Shop floor managers and engineers at their Laptops and Tabs[role based].
They are provided with New Request form on Work Center MII screen as well as separately for managers and engineers to raise defects. Once request is raised, an Admin dashboard is given as role based maintained by the concerned supervisor at shop floor to see the requests and assign it appropriately.
 
Used File Upload Functionality for Images in this application used JSP and MII transaction to achieve it.

Project Description
This report is a simple UI based with reporting Inputs and a XSL grid.
Scrap Report is used by Planners at Shop Floor to verify the scrapped material and determine the main cause(s) of the scrap. By responding to the issues that cause excessive scrap, they can save their team time and reduce their overhead. Eventually helps to improve operational efficiency.
While scrapping, Operator needs to put appropriate Reason Code and Vendor Code along with the quantity scrapped that needs to be performed in another application called Scrap Kiosk.

Project Description
One of the most important factory productivity analyzer helps business to identify and acquire vital business stats which are required to take important informed decisions. The information will be shown in the report such as number of production orders confirmed or running, Number of employees working, number of man hours worked etc  in a single work center for different lines across a business.
 
According to the business requirement, this report has to be generated thrice in a day for shift 1, shift 2 and shift 1& 2 and send as an email attachment to the business distribution list.
 
I have created a transaction to dynamically take Production Lines and work centers values with the required information and generated a STATIC HTML that will be sent to the business for each shift.

Project Description
This functionality is required for tracking of Loose parts of a Production Order at a work center. The new functionality will be using barcode scanner to scan and track of loose parts. Users will be provided with a UI form with the values populated from the scan of a material. Form will have functionality to push down the scanned record in the Loose Parts Grid. Also, User will be provided with a flexibility to delete or edit any line item record on Loose Parts Grid. And, in case of no barcode, User will be able to enter the details manually.

Project Description
This full proof automated system helps to find the defective machines on the line and if they are identified, perform defect declaration, then put them in a rework area, perform rectification and pass them to further assembly process, All the Data is captured through PLCs using OPC via PCo to MII plant DB, thus developed Reports and Dashboards for PCs, Tablets and Mobiles to make informed decisions by business.
