Senior tech lead and software engineer, CTO-for-hire

I have worked at Nokia Research as a research engineeer for 6 years, then moved into freelancing 10 years ago. I have worked mainly with US based clients. In the past 5-6 years I've co founded two startups (both got funded with ~$600k in total) as a technical co-founder/CTO. As a hands-on manager and co-founder I've built MVPs, hired, managed and mentored teams of developers and also dealt with the business issues when needed. In between the two startups I worked at a third one as a CTO (as an employee). That company had been in operation for about 5 years back then and needed someone to grow the technology from a one man show into a product. (The company also did business consulting on the side, ~20 people altogether, with working on development.)

These days I'm doing mentoring (startup founders), teaching (developers) and consulting/software development/technical project management. Most of the time I work with python and Django, but I have substantial experience with JavaScript (a bit nodejs included), mobile development (android) and Java, but I haven't used these latter two for a while.
