Web-Projects (mainly PHP with PostgreSQL or MySQL):
* Datacenter Inventory Database : web-inventory for tracking
Nintendo hardware and software, which software version is burned on
which hardware and who has loaned the hardware and software from
datacenter. Used with hardware EAN scanner to quickly identify each
hardware item. It includes several supplementary modules including
EAN barcode generator, extensive reporting system (with graphs),
interface for loaners to check what did they loan and when it should be
returned. About 15 direct datacenter users, but it deals with more than
500 employees.
* BugLog : bug tracker developed to fit tightly into the workflow of the
Localization department. Contains a subsystem that allows importing
Excel and XML files with messages and their translation for marking
purposes, supplementary tester performance analyser and many
different reports, self-performance reporting system for each module.
More than 200 users of 8 different access levels, possible access for
external developers.
* Bijou : project tracking and time tracking system which has been
extended with vacation tracking and requesting (based on Petri nets),
export interface to third-party Persis system (http://www.persis.de/ ),
users, groups and access-rights management, general reporting system
(SQL designer for end users without any computer knowledge), some
custom made reports which could not be made with general reporting
system. Interface with Kaba (http://www.kaba.com/ ) time registration
hardware. More than 1000 users.
* Automatic system which is logging into the web-server built into
Panasonic HDD Video Recorder (reverse-engineered the login procedure
from Javascript to PHP), gets lists of files on HDD and downloads the
latest file to a predefined folder for easy and fast access by testers.
* Glossary : A web glossary of characters, items, locations and other
terms used in games. Includes windows software (programmed in
.NET) that is reading a selected word or several words from practically
any application upon hotkey and issues a web-search for that term.




Automatic clipboard reading and writing for a found translation. An
import system to import glossaries from different Excel files and XML
files.
* Lotcheck Database ( https://www.noeplts.de/ ): An online information
system to inform publishers of the status of their game submissions to
Lotcheck. Lotcheck employees have elevated rights allowing to manage
data directly from the front-end interface and upload status reports in
PDF. Multiple reporting and analysis scripts. Incorporated testing
checklists.

Responsibilities include:
* Handling game ROM data for all Nintendo consoles in a highly secure
environment
* Creating an Internet Data Center Inventory Database that handles ROM
data, employees, hardware with ActiveX component to read out the
information from the ROM data stored on the client-side.
* Creating a plug-in for WhereIsIt software ( http://www.whereisit.com/ )
to catalogue ROM data.
* Creating Windows shell extensions to simplify Data Center Technician's
work.
