Lars currently runs his own business as “truetec – business intelligence”. truetec focusses on bridging business towards technology into a business intelligence perspective. REPOWER
REPOWER America is the largest network of local solar providers in the U.S., backed by
the power of a national solar leader. As a national organization with over 80 MW of
solar capacity installed, REPOWER America provides the scale, expertise and backing
to help our network of nearly two hundred trusted, local solar contractors win in the
highly competitive residential solar business.
With REPOWER I am responsible for their whole data analytics platform based on Azure
Analysis Services, Data Factory, Data Warehouse and PowerBI. My team and I work on
continuously growing and advancing the capabilities around the analytics platform.
Vivanda, Inc.
At Vivanda we have built a food personalization platform to empower its customers to
deliver contextual and personalized experiences to consumers. In short, we digitize
taste.
Based on 30 years of culinary research, food and sensory science, Vivanda has created
a classification to standardize and qualify the anatomy of a given food item as it relates
to an individuals “Taste.” We call this the food genome.
Using proprietary algorithms, Vivanda matches taste and texture preference of an
individual with any recipe, beverage or food product and delivers contextualized
recommendations through our API enabled platform.
By analyzing the data generated, Vivanda provides its customers with the means to
perform sensory informed analytics, including predictive market foresight, with the
goal to inform growth strategies.
Lars has been responsible to transform the prototype concept into a comprehensive
technology platform utilizing state of the business intelligence approaches.
Digital Tempus, Inc.
Lars developed from a junior-level business intelligence consultant to the Lead Engineer Technology & Business Intelligence. Until today Lars has been involved in large-scale business intelligence projects supporting ongoing efforts in the area of Sales & Operations Planning for a dozens of TOP 50 fortune companies like McCormick, NALCO, Pfizer, FMC and others.
Lars architected and lead a project for a large chemical company to transform fundamental organizational planning capabilities, including the monthly S&OP process. Lars’s work included the architecture of a multi- dimensional planning capability, utilizing data warehouse, business intelligence and advanced mathematical forecasting capabilities. He also has been involved in the development of an integrated business planning application based on Microsoft .NET, supporting the visualization and interaction with cube-oriented data and processes.
Alongside his expertise for business intelligence related activities Lars steers the IT infrastructure team and manages deployments of customer footprints.
