Project history

03/2019 - Present
Master data project for real estate management
The company is restructuring the real estate management in SAP RE-FX with focus on building up the architectonical structure next to the existing economic structure. Also, the existing link to SAP-PM for maintenance of the objects were optimized. Following projects are management of energy meter, technical assessments, and facilities as well the digitization of documents from buildings and outdoor facilities.

04/2017 - 08/2018
Centralization of a repro and printing form supplier
For cost saving and definition of unique standards across the plants the external repro and printing form suppliers must be centralized. This was related to all plants with flexo print technology. Crucial for the success was to set-up a global database with all printing related technical specifications and access for all plants.

07/2016 - 08/2018
Implementation of a new digital printing technology
The group made an investment for a new and unique digital printing machine as inkjet single pass system. Focus was to automate the process for a very fast order to cash process and the smoothly integration into existing ERP system and the sales structure. Also, to reach the deadline for running the machine for a presentation on an international exhibition using live streaming.

02/2015 - 05/2018
Process Owner of an international company
At all printing units of the company in whole Europe and one in China exist a prepress department and all of them work with different tools and processes. Target was to get a process harmonization in prepress with SAP Rollout in all global printing plants.

06/2014 - 07/2017
Process optimization of ink management
To reduce the high costs for rest inks an efficient system to record the rest inks and integrate them into ne wink recipes. This system must be implemented to use it in all global plants and to share printing jobs within the units.

Implementation of an online customer portal
Due to customer requirements a web-based customer portal for print design development between prepress and customer must be implemented. Later also internal processes are implemented into the system to improve the internal and cross functional communication between the global plants.

09/2011 - 02/2013
Process optimization of printing plant
The printing unit of the company was aside to the other plants and with no efficient lead. Target was to optimize the production workflow to increase the performance and to utilize the capacity more efficient to reduce the costs. On top the setup times and the number of claims must be reduced and the actual ink supplier must be changed to a more cost efficient one.

Development and implementation of a prepress system
Due to lack of functionality of the existing ERP systems and traditional manual processes it was necessary to develop an own workflow system for prepress. Focus was an efficient and detailed management of customer specific print design information, technical data of their packaging machines and the digitization of the manual workflow between sales and prepress.
