I would describe myself as an experienced project and program leader and a facilitator who establishes the relationships and processes and introduces the tools necessary for my clients and our team to successfully complete the task at hand. I bring an analytical mind, paired with broad knowledge of both business and technology, and strong communication skills to the table.
With my experience and interest in both classical and agile management methodologies, and their application both in IT and other organizations I can adapt my leadership style to the specific circumstances of my client and the project. I pride myself in being a project management specialist with no particular focus on just one business or systems domain. It is my biggest strength to speak the language of different stakeholders, literally and figuratively, to be able to build bridges between them, and lead everbody in the same direction towards a common goal. I'm a quick learner, very self-driven and with an entrepreneurial mindset. My current interest is in digital transformation projects on every level, from strategy to operations, from technology to business models and from product and service innovations to organizational change. Learning more about AI, the industrial internet of things (Industrie 4.0) and agile management every day.
In addition to my life as a consultant and project maanger I have been a basketball referee on the professional level in Germany and Europe for the 15 years, which has definitely helped me grow tremendously as a leader and a person in general.
