1. Project name: TD Bank (Technical Lead)
Description: Source system -Main frame (EBCDIC files and ASCII files)
Database: Netezza
Team size 16+
Tools: IBM DataStage 8.7 and 9.1 and Netezza.

TDCT has purchased MBNA Canada and will be converting the accounts residing on Bank of America's
system to Tsys' TS2 system.
TDCT has decided to adapt a Hybrid approach - fitting somewhere between running as a stand-alone
business and full integration for Product and Operational functions. There will be some interfaces
managed through TDCT/MBNA's iHub/Integration Layer ETL (Data Stage) system while others will be
direct.
Applications and infrastructure will leverage existing TD systems and processes (including in flight
projects) where possible. Given tight execution timelines and budget constraints, the business has
decided to identify and prioritize only the critical few capabilities that are "strategic
imperatives" needed to preserve the value of the MBNA portfolio, distinct from "foundational
capabilities" needed to meet operational requirements to run the business. Foundational capabilities
will utilize existing TDCT or Tsys functionality as much as possible. Strategic imperatives may
leverage existing TDCT or Tsys functionality; use a vendor or build from scratch.

Role: Team Lead

2. Project name: L&T

1. As a developer and Admin and the Team lead for EDW module which is critical for the Cognos
reports used by the business end.
2. My role in this project is basically performance tuning of the existing code which is failing in
production due to the poor coding of the DataStage jobs when it processes large volume of data from
source systems. Currently the ETL batch is stable and automated to restart the ETL batch whenever
the job fails due to memory constraints.
3. Made sure ETL batch completes within timelines as the data is required by the business end.
4. There are no failures after I applied permanent fix in the ETL code for 3 months. (Achievement as
expected).
7. Resolved environmental issues like memory from the ETL server.

3. Project name: National Commercial Bank, KSA
Module: ATM reports

largest bank by asset in the Arab world and one of the pioneers in Islamic Banking and finance in

There was a lot of scope for ETL operations in core banking and improve the existing system by
creating new designs and new reports to enhance and upgrade the existing NCB system to.

Module: ATM reports

There was a need of daily reports for the existing monthly ATM reports by creating a new design and
enable it for the daily reporting in ATM reports against the monthly reports. ATM reports does
consist of ticket history details, ATM machine details, active state durations, ATM service details
and ATM active categories.
