More than a decade of experience within the project management and consultant field has led to me on more than one occasion acting as a trouble-shooter to review and steer projects already within their life cycle:

Client: Social Security Institution for the Industrial Group
Project: Management for the Project B2U (Batch 2 Unix): Transfer of the SVA-specific Batch Application from IBM zOS to UNIX based Server Operation Systems (AIX). The scope of the project also includes automatic code generation and the connection to the control tool for new data processing center (UC4: global)

Client: SONY Pictures & Home Entertainement, SONY DADC
Project: Functional Lead (Project Language English): Design and Implementation of the Testing for the Rollout of an ERP-System (Order to Invoice) in Iberia (Madrid) as well as a trouble-shooting assignment for the Rollout in Germany (Munich).

Client: Social Security Institution for the Industrial Group (SVAdgW)
Project: Automatic Migration of Online Applications: This complex and strategically important project has been awarded to SHARK GmbH as a result of an EU-wide bidding process.
The commonly used software products (CSP und VAG) have been taken out of maintenance by effecting all online administration applications (1600 users nationwide).
Therefore a smooth, efficient and automated upgrade into Java Technology has been successfully performed using a Generator designed and implemented by SHARK GmbH.

Position: Project Manager (including the bidding process)
• Project Management within the Bidding Process
• Project Management within the implementation of a Framework to perform the automatic migration of CSP / VAG Applications into Java including the connection to CICS, Lotus Notes and DB2.
• Test Management: Organisation of User Tests, Regression Tests and Automated Load Tests using a Flodder funcionality.
• Organisation of Training sessions tailored for the specific needs of CSP/VAG turned Java Programmers.
Result: Successful transfer to an up to date, object oriented technology without any manual interference.
The project has been completed successfully within time and budget.

Client: Government of Lower Austria
Projects: WIFFOS Project Family: Automation of the budgets and grants for commercial, tourist and sport promotions of the lower austrian government, including the interface to the specific controlling system of the government.
A turn key project was publicly announced and included business and IT consulting, system analysis and design, system implementation, test management and implementation, training and knowledge transfer.
This success led to a number of follow on projects to provide new functionality, for example: new EU guidelines, the organisation of the EURO change over, technology upgrades.

Client: Association of the Social Security Institutions of Austria
Project: Business analysis for the different social security institutions in order to prepare for the introduction of the chip-card to replace the existing manual system. Brought in during project life cycle to give an ongoing task direction and bring to a conclusion.

GENERALI Versicherung/Generali Service AG
OO-analysis for the connection of an internet platform (EAI – Enterprise Application Integration) for a restricted user group (full insurance administration) involving call centers and main offices. Data analysis and definition of the exchange of date has been performed using the XML-concept.

Client: Wiener Städtische Versicherung, DONAU Versicherung und Volksfürsorge-Jupiter-Versicherung
Project: System analysis and design for the administration of the commercial and general insurances excluding vehicles. A business process model has been designed in cooperation with the key users. The implementation has been performed using the product system developed by SHARK GmbH for another project .

Client: Bank Austria / Creditanstalt Bankverein
Project: Organisation of the implementation of a corporate group wide front End-Dealing-System for the Foreign Exchange Trading Department.
Role: Business Consultant (Project Language English):
• Organisation of the installation
• Training and supervising of the key-users for the head office in Vienna and the branches in New York, London and Hong Kong.
Result: A worldwide connected Real-Time-Front-End-Dealing-System which provides optimal, corporate group wide reaction to market changes.

Client: Bank Austria / Creditanstalt Bankverein
Project/Role: IPOS – International Payment Ordering System: Brought in during project life cycle to review the existing project performance and standing, which led to a change in project organisation and management.

Position: Senior Business Consultant
System analysis and design for the implementation of the international payment ordering system for the CA-BA.
The project was brought back on track and completed successfully within time and budget.

Client: Leading Austrian Pulp and Paper Industry
Project: Implementation of an Enterprise Ressource Planning System (Oracle E-Business Suite) as a Senior Business Consultant:
• Implementation of the Modules Oracle Financials and Purchasing
• Specification of parameters, definition of a reporting system for the management, Project Controlling

• The EBM-Suite (Enterprise Business Modeller) covers the complete project-life-cycle and is unique in its complexity and cross functionality. All the processes can also be used in product development and support the full development cycle.
