I managed the Oxfam programme at Umande trust that included several projects on Water and
Sanitation, Human Rights and Economic Empowerment.
* Community Empowerment to Access and Demand Justice: - a governance and advocacy
programme targeting small scale traders in Nairobi's informal settlements; supported by
European Union (EU), and jointly implemented by Oxfam, Umande Trust and Kenya Private
Sector Alliance (KEPSA)
- Together with KEPSA, trained Journalists in Nairobi on project's aspects and explored
areas of cooperation
- Mobilized and trained small scale traders in Nairobi's informal settlements on the project

- Mobilized and trained the then Nairobi's Provincial administration officers (D.O's, chiefs
and assistant chiefs in Nairobi on Human Rights and safe business spaces
* Kenya Urban Development Programme: Empowerment for youth and water for all - A three year
water and sanitation programme targeting the youth in Mukuru, Korogocho and Kibera slums
- Fundraised for construction of 5 sanitation facilities (bio-centres) and 8 water kiosks
- Mobilized youth in the project areas, build their capacity on savings and governance.
