EGV SAL:
The goals of this R & D Study \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Erweiterter Grid Verbund - Sensor Aufklärung Lage (EGV-SAL)\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" - \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Extended Grid Network - sensor reconnaissance picture\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" was the design of a system model EGV-SAL in an experimental prototyping. On the other hand was the demonstration of increased efficiency and capability of this information network in the context of network centric warfare on the basis of proofs and a military evacuation scenario with usage of information grid with integrated PK-Infrastructure BwW, the R&D project AiIT, PvCBw INSC and ISVA, ISVA2GRID & GRID2ISVA as well as Real Time Sensor Information System also the aim of this study.
Responsible for conceptioning and network integration over UDP-Interface of the IDCP (Identification Data Combining Process) Software with the sensor field from the university Aachen and the Blue Force Tracking Units (Fuchs Tanks). This was realised with a Trackserver (in Java implemented), which as a central Unit does data reception, data distribution and forwarding, depends on configured network participants. As the persistent data manage was used MySQL-DBMS.
Position: Software developer

11/2005 – 01/2006
Development of The Distributed Integrated Test Enviroment “VIntEL” – New Terrain Data Base:
Establishing the capability of the armed forces to conduct network enabled operations requires new tools to more effectively support the identification and satisfaction of the needs of the forces. The Distributed Integrated Test Environment (German acronym: VIntEL) is a future network enabled capability (NEC) testbed for comprehensive testing and evaluation of defence demonstrators and technical innovations. It is intended to be used for realistic testing and optimization during all development phases.
In this project was used a 2D terrain data base from existing Simulating System PABST and synchronized with 3D terrain in VIntEL. The road map and other GIS-information’s were updated.
Position : Software developer

06/2005 – 10/2005
ALS – Terminal:
Development of modular SIP based VoIP application according to basic military requirements and specifications. This VoIP-applications was developed modular and with simple Plugins mechanism for additional functions (e.g. Video) and communications layers (e.g. serial , H.323). The core applications was used for voice communication and text chat (e.g. instant messanger). For voice transmit was used Melp-Vocoder.
Position: Software developer

07/2003 – 05/2005
Standardized Scenario Generaor :
Implementation and development of concept for Standard Scenario Generator. This in Java developed tool was created as standard framework for Scenario-editors and generators . As persistent data managament layer was used Oracle XDB (XML-data base ). Die XML-technology (XML-schema) was used as meta layer for data model description.
Position: Project manager

01/2003 – 09/2003
Mobile Communication in German Army:
„Derivation and implementation of user requirements for the mobile communication for German Land Forces\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" as contribution from German Armed Forces for System Requirement Standard document for „Mobile Communication“ for Bundeswehr.
