I have several years of experience in project management of cross-functional and cross-location teams of international projects in the automotive industry. One of my successes in project management is the industrialization of the first proprietary acoustic flap for the company Eberspächer Exhaust Technology GmbH. I took over the development of this mechatronic flap in the early project phase and brought it into series production in 2020. In doing so, I led the team in such a way that the deadline, cost and quality targets were met.
However, I not only have experience in project management, but also in purchasing, sales, logistics and controlling. After my studies, I chose to start my career in the controlling department of the Diesel Systems Division of Robert Bosch GmbH. This gave me an insight into the relevant control variables and strategies of the company. Later, I switched to the sales department, where, in addition to my experience as a project manager, I gained knowledge in the preparation of quotations, the coordination of contracts with customers, and the planning and tracking of sales, development costs and revenues. Through my work as Global Commodity Manager in the global purchasing department of Eberspächer Exhaust Technology GmbH, I gained knowledge of the procurement processes as well as negotiation skills with suppliers. Furthermore, I led task forces for demand and capacity planning, capacity expansion of production, as well as bottleneck control for the worldwide supply of exhaust and acoustic dampers, which gave me an insight into the logistics processes.
In the area of software development, I was already able to gain initial experience. As part of my work in global purchasing, I was responsible for the administration, development and training of the purchasing IT tool "Supplier Lunch Manager". I was the interface between Eberspächer Exhaust Technology GmbH and the software development service provider.
Due to my flexibility in thinking and acting and the ability to put myself into foreign fields of work and ways of working, I always noticed optimization potentials in the organizational processes. During my work at Eberspächer Exhaust Technology, for example, I demonstrated the need for product management for generic products, introduced agile product management for these products, and defined a process for avoiding tax shifting in this area. During my assignment at Staiger GmbH & Co.KG I optimized the processes and structures of the internal sales force. Furthermore, during my assignment at Robert Bosch GmbH, I created transparency regarding the business with tier customers and developed a recommended course of action for the business handling with tier customers.
I am looking for challenging projects in an international context. Due to my versatile experience I am flexible in my work. Although I have mainly worked in the automotive industry, I am also open to other industries.
