SAP Recommended Rapid Data Migration (RDM) is implemented for migration process.
Brief Description of Client:
SBD (Stanley Black and decker) is a manufacturing Company. Client has the requirement data migration
from SAP ECC to S4HANA.We have two projects like CFIN(Central Finance) and SEF(Stanley Engineered
fastening) for SBD. Here In migration process we are migrating the data from different sources (6
sources) like SAP ECC, legacy systems (SQL tables, XCEL files, Dat files) into S4HANA system by
using IDOCS, BAPIS.
Responsibilities:
* Involved in design and development (End to End) for Master data and Transactional data loading
process by using the Rapid Data migration.
* Responsible for Coding various custom function which are used for used for data validation
checks before
feeding to the target system.(Ex Postal code validation, Account Number Validations).
* Involved in customization of various objects according to the requirements.
* Involved in creating mapping & tech Spec documents.
* Creating customized code for the objects which are not part of RDM & pertaining ownership to the
object.
* Interacted with the Business and implemented the Business rules to design Master Data
Corrections.
* Created Source data store with multiple configurations for sandbox, development and quality.
* Creating S4HANATarget data store for loading the data from SAP ECC and other legacy systems
through IDOC and BAPI'S.
* Extracting from SAP ECC, different legacy systems and Staged in a Staging database, Cleansed and
Transforming to S4HANA data definitions.
* Run Validation and Quality scripts against Staging Tables.
