IT Operations

I have extensive experience in the IT field having worked in various IT positions over the last 15 years, of which 10 years into the same pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Here, one of my key achievements was to design and implement a company-specific client-server application that led to a 50% reduction of administration time. Interconnected to the existing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) application, it replaces the old paper-based procedures with online workflow and it provides instant in-depth reporting. It allowed our company to avoid the highly expensive acquisition of the SAP (System Applications Product) software, while having a similar, yet more personalised, outcome. For this, I worked closely with most of local and global corporate services (Finance, Administration etc.) as well as with local operations services (Procurement, Supply Chain), to be able to consider their specific needs and ensure they are addressed appropriately (such as financial, budgetary or operational planning and reporting). In addition, over the last three years, I have managed and supported the delivery of IT services in coordination with local, regional, and global resources on the status of projects, service and support efforts, being accountable also for company-wide technical on-boarding and off-boarding processes. Having worked for so long in an international and multicultural company, using both English and Romanian on a daily basis with a multi-disciplinary and global team, I have developed very good communication and negotiation skills with multiple business stakeholders and various international suppliers. I have also developed analytical skills that have enabled me to contribute to the successful implementation of our projects, based on a detailed business analysis. In addition, flexibility, innovation, teamwork, and resilience were, in this challenging but very enriching work, among the skills most frequently needed.
