Roles & Responsibilities

* Responsible for Supplier Assessment and actively work towards upgrading them in liaison with
Supply Chain management.
* Product development at supplier site in-line with APQP4Wind requirements.
* Product and Process verification in-line with PPAP requirements,
* Performing the Manufacturing process audit in-line with VDA 6.3 requirements.
* Responsible for supplier approval in SAP Ariba for welding components.
* Drive and lead the supplier Quality development with defined strategies and targets.




* Drive and guide the supplier on the NCR analysis with closed-loop Quality system.
* Coordinating with the customer for inspection process, continuous improvement of the product
with every aspect and effectively contributing in the preparation of documents.
* Support of project development with regards to timely execution of project and achieve delivery
schedules as per plan.
* Supporting to site team for customer query's and non- compliance technical reviews.
* Expertise in approving the various kind of supplier based on the test order evaluation by performing the
First Article Validation.
* Establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality assurance system to enhance the world
quality of products.
* Periodic product and Management Audit with Windmill circular Tower, Forged Flange and steel mill
supplier.
* Expertise in metallurgical lab testing of samples of steel plates, sheets, forged components & weld
coupons as per DIN/EN standards.
* Evaluating the NDT like Dye Penetrant Test (DPT), Magnetic Particle test (MPT), Visual test (VT) &
Ultrasonic test (UT) of weld joints of tower & nacelle components of wind turbine
* Defining and monitoring quality policies, quality objectives & targets and maintaining the related
documents for the same
* Undergone Training for Product quality, Industrial and Personnel safety, Environmental, NCR
handling, tower documentation, ISO activities and Management Principles.
* Train and develop the key strategic suppliers (PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP & APQP).
* Lead and promote the Q focus best practice sharing in ASP region.
* Codes & standards familiar with ASME, EN & ISO .
* Handling Documentation of all inspection activities.
