As a Change Management Practitioner, I am highly passionate not only about integrating change management with project management but also about going beyond designing, developing, and delivering projects to managing the people side of change. This includes early determination of contract deliverables, succinct Scope of Work (SOWs), Identifying Unique User Requirements, and Identifying Key Stakeholders such as the Super Users for the development of the Five Levers of Change- (i) Sponsor Roadmap and Coalition Plan, (ii) Communication Plan, (iii) Training Plan, (iv) Coaching Plan, and (v) Resistance Management Plan. These are the elements in the tactical plan that will deliver better engagements, adoption, and utilization of the delivered projects as well as sustain the gains that will impact business bottom lines.
Leading and Managing Change is a skilled area that requires executive presence; strong management skills; experience and knowledge in change management principles, methodologies, and tools; as well as skills in building relationships and partnerships across the impacted groups. I am a PROSCI Certified Change Management Practitioner with strong proficiency in MS PowerPoints, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc. which are necessary tools for contemporary engagements. I have project management skills, and great interpersonal skills, and great at developing communication documents. I believe my experience in other fields coupled with my other qualifications and my current role in leading change at one of Ghana’s largest financial institutions since consolidation have all prepared me for this opportunity.
