TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER, QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

* Completed customer's task to actualize and relaunch existing test automation solution for web application.
Project has been fully refactored and updated with a new reporting system. Also project has been adopted
to be used on CI system running on demand or on schedule. As a result of work, the QA and developers
teams, and customers had the most actual results from HTML reports for more than 200 actualized UI
auto tests in their everyday work, and launch history for each one. Test reports allowed QA engineers to
decrease time for bug creation, and were useful for developers to clarify details of those issues during bug
fix activities.

* Started development from scratch and successfully completed development of test automation solution for
backend application of the product under development. Solution has been adopted to be used on CI system
running either on demand or on schedule, providing detailed HTML reports for the customer, developers
and QA teams. As a result of my job, the manual QA team could be more concentrated on new defects
lookup in the front-end and mobile application for the product.

* Participated (for a not long time) in projects for mobile application (Android platform only) and Windows
desktop applications test automation. As a result I've got basic knowledge of new approaches and libraries
usage in test automation for such projects.

* From the first day in the company I've replaced a test automation engineer in the product development
team, and continued to support existing test automation solution for web UI and backend API. Also my
daily responsibilities were automation of new test scenarios, tests run on CI and test results analysis with
defects reporting in a bug tracking system.

* As experienced specialist initiated mentoring in the test automation area for several colleagues from the QA
team of the company. Finally after a few months they were ready to perform easy test automation tasks on
existing projects and participate in test automation activities.

* As a low experienced specialist in the test automation area have joined the product team and participated in
auto tests scenarios development and test automation project evolution. In parallel I learned best practices
and approaches in the professional area, new test automation tools, program libraries and technologies.
Finally got enough experience to feel free for independent test automation projects development applying
received knowledge. As a result of the work of the test automation team, tests checklist was covered on
most functional tests. QA engineers significantly have reduced their time to run regression tests manually,
and concentrated more of their efforts on remaining non-functional aspects of product testing.
