Project history

- Design, development and expansion of a B2B web platform for holiday homes with a profit increase of 140% in the first year
- Project management and requirements engineering of a reinsurance reporting environment from scratch for two business units. Introduction of a single business vocabulary, standardization of financial and technical reports, achieving a first full availability of reinsurance data within the enterprise, saving 5 FTE's for data preparation, introduction of business alerts to critical states which do not meet the standards
- Initiation, project management, business analysis and development of the global data collection system, exclusively using and optimizing the existing infrastructure. Availability of data within 3 days instead of 70 days and eliminating postal mail documents. Improving data quality and increasing the transparency of quarterly financial statements. Project payback within 90 days.
- Implementation of the department wide content management system based on FileNet for email, treaty, claims and accounting documents administration
- Optimization of database processes for the quarterly and annual financial statements. Reduce the process time from 12 to 2 hours. Thanks to optimization, corrections and the impact on the financial statements could be seen within the same working day and repeated
- Initiation, requirements engineering and developing of a system for calculation of necessary provisions and reserves. Originally intended as a stopgap for a foreign project that had to be redesigned due to a faulty concept. The temporary solution had been integrated for two years in the closing process and was used as a reference and control system.
