Summary
I am a self-starting, motivated IT consultant with over twenty years experience in the computer Industry. I am a certified SAP Materials Management Consultant, I have extensive experience using Plant Maintenance and I am also an experienced ABAP developer.
I have lived in Singapore for the past nine years and recently worked for Abeam Consulting Pte Ltd on an implementation project, version ECC 6.0, to roll out the APAC template to the Australia subsidiary of the NEC Electronics Corporation.

I have also worked on a major development project to deliver a Global template system, SAP version 4.7, for the Singapore Ministry of Defence. As a Functional consultant my responsibilities included the delivery of enhancements within the scope of MM/WM and PM functionality.
Prior to relocating, I had been responsible for the development and maintenance of the MM/ WM process, of a full SAP solution implementation. This has required in-depth knowledge of the client’s business process and the SAP MM/WM and PM functional capability to deliver quality enhancements.

SAP MM/WM Consultant Abeam Consulting Pte Ltd Singapore
July 2012 – May 2013

This assignment involved the roll-out of the APAC template solution to the Australia subsidiary of the NEC Electronics Corporation.
NEC AU specialises in communications solutions including data networking, biometrics, digital signage and display solutions.
I was responsible for all of the MM/WM aspects of the implementation including configuration and the development of Functional Specifications.
A significant achievement involved the development of multiple interfaces between SAP and an external Warehouse Management software package.
This required the use of IDOC and XML file technologies to transmit data between the two Systems.
I was also required to manage the Data Migration activities involving the drafting of the Policy, Cleansing and Data Mapping documentation for all MM/WM objects. This included the Material Master, Vendor Master, PIR, Inventory objects etc.

AsiaPac SAP MM/WM Team lead Pall Filtration Pte Ltd Singapore
September 2010 – May 2012

Pall Filtration is an American MNC involved in the manufacture and sale of liquid filtration equipment and systems.
Applications include aerospace, electronics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals.
I was the MM/WM Team lead for the AsiaPac regional office in Singapore.
My team of three consultants was involved in projects, enhancements and helpdesk support for the SAP global template which has now been successfully implemented worldwide.
A significant achievement involved the roll-out of the global template system to the AsiaPac region, in particular the Australia and New Zealand subsidiaries.
Most recently I was involved in the implementation of the global template in North America, Canada and Brazil.

This project involved, most significantly, the implementation of the Production Planning module for Detroit Diesel, United States, partner of MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH. The new System replaced the current mainframe legacy System.
As a member of the Logistics team I was responsible for a number of processes within Materials Management and Warehouse Management that support the Production process. This included the utilisation of the PP and WM Material staging functionality to supply components to the Production line using KANBAN.

July 2007 – November 2008

• Team Leader (MM/PM Consultant) for Sumitomo Chemical Singapore Pte Ltd.
April 2008 – November 2008
Sumitomo Chemical Singapore Pte Ltd. is involved in the manufacture and sale of chemicals including polymers and agro-chemicals.
The project deliverables were to upgrade the current system from 3.1h to version to ECC 6.0 version, to conduct workshops with business Key Users to identify new requirements, and to provide a solution to streamline the current business organisational structure with the merger of existing Company Codes and other related configuration and master data.
As the Team Leader my responsibilities involved overseeing all activities involved in the delivery of the customer requirements. This involved liaising with the client project management, functional, ABAP and BASIS teams. I was also responsible for the MM/PM module areas.

• Team Leader (MM/WM/PP Consultant) for Avnet Asia Pte Ltd.
November 2007 – March 2008
Avnet Asia Pte Ltd. is a MNC involved in the Semiconductor Sales & Distribution industry. They have many offices operating across Asia and utilise multiple languages on SAP including English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
The project deliverable was to upgrade the Global template, from the 4.6c version to ECC 6.0 version, and to also perform a Unicode conversion of the current MDMP (Multi-Display/Multi-Processing) System.
As the Team Leader my responsibilities involved overseeing and monitoring the project deliverables against the timeline. I was also responsible for the MM, WM and PP module aspects of the implementation.

• Team Leader (MM/PM Consultant) for The Polyolefin Company (S) Pte Ltd
August 2007 – October 2007
The Polyolefin Company (S) Pte Ltd (TPC) is a major polyolefin manufacturer in South East Asia.
The project deliverable was to upgrade the SAP System, from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. As the Team Leader I monitored the project activities. I was also responsible for the Materials Management and Plant Maintenance module aspects of the implementation.

For this project I was focused on the MM/WM functional areas.
The project involved a fresh implementation for the Detroit, United States, partner of MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH.
This involved configuring the new system, identifying any enhancements required, developing functional documentation, test procedures and providing training for key users.
Specifically I was responsible for the development of enhancements to enable the implemented SAP System to Interface with the existing legacy Mainframe Systems.
The Interfaces are required transfer data pertaining to MM Stock Movements.

• PM Consultant for CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore)
October 2005 – September 2006
For this project I was focused on the Plant Maintenance functional areas.
The Customer required a complete re-implementation of the Preventive Maintenance module.
The project deliverable was to upgrade the current system, version 3.1h to the latest version ECC 5.0.
This required the following phases :
• Development of the business blueprint to identify any process changes.
• Identification of any new enhancements required to realise the new business process.
• Development of Functional documentation and Test procedures.
• Development of Training documentation and conducting of Training Sessions for both Key Users and End Users.

? MM Consultant for YHS (Yeo Hiap Seng Singapore)
August 2005 – September 2005
The project deliverable was to convert the current product codes to a new material number notation which required the conversion of MM master data i.e. Material Masters, BOM, Routing, Purchase info records, price conditions. In addition to this, the current stock levels were converted as well as any outstanding Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
Technically this required the use of the Data transfer work bench utilities i.e. transactions LSMW and SXDA, and also BDC and BAPI techniques.

For this project I was focused on the Materials Management, Warehouse Management and SD functional areas.
The project objective was a fresh implementation for the Korean subsidiary of Fujitsu microelectronics Ltd.
This involved configuring the new system, identifying any enhancements required, developing functional documentation, test procedures and providing training for key users.

The project deliverable was to upgrade the Global template system, used by Perkin Elmer from the 3.1h version to 4.6c version of SAP.
For this project I was responsible for the Materials Management module and also the client\\\'s customised developments.

This role required an in-depth knowledge of the functional capability of the SAP system including the latest enhancements introduced in the 4.7 release, particularly within the MM/WM and PM modules

As a functional consultant certified in the Materials Management module, version 4.6, I have been required to analyse and deliver solutions within the scope of MM/WM and also PM and SD functionality.
As a lead developer my responsibilities have included identifying packages of work to be distributed to the designated project team resources, and to co-ordinate and administer the completion of these tasks to ensure successful delivery.
As an ABAP developer I have delivered enhancements significantly within the scope of the MM/WM modules and also within the PM, SD, and PS modules.
The development of enhancements has required the application of the following ABAP techniques :
? Batch, Dialog, User interface and Report programming.
? Database programming including Open and Native SQL statements.
? User exits, ABAP queries and Performance Optimisation.
? Methods of data transfer including BDC, BAPIs, SAP to business connector using RFC technology and flat files sent using FTP mechanisms to Web-enabled applications.
? I have also been responsible for the development of the process to convert and migrate data ‘mechanically’ from the legacy systems. This includes the use of the SAP data transfer workbench utilities, SXDA and LSMW.
