Known as an enthusiastic ‘Change Agent’, great communicator/presenter and motivator, during my placement year at Allianz I was based in the Guildford head office where I had 3 different roles:-

Web Developer: I have been a web developer working on the company's new intranet redevelopment using CQ5. This consisted in analyzing the previous data ,web layouts and coming up with designs for the new websites and at the same time ensuring that the all the consistency, accurate data porting and design standards so that users wouldn't have to spend a lot of time getting used to the website.

Project Manager: Responsible for managing several projects and small tasks such as a software rollout to the entire Commercial Division in Allianz Insurance PLC.

Where I had to
• Offer support and encourage best practises within the department.
• Provide management information for the IT Delivery Manager
• Maintains a roadmap of programmes and projects in department.
• Monitor time recording and project milestones
• Track portfolio level budgets

Orca is a free, open source, flexible, and extensible screen reader that provides access to the graphical desktop via user-customizable combinations of speech and/or braille. I was working as debugger working on some of the most rated bugs on the bug tracker and fixing them. I was also responsible for being a interface designer and enhancing it to enable easy interaction for the users.
Computer Software
As a freelancer the main work would be done on a remote basis with frequent and well established communications with the client. All my clients I have dealt with were done on a virtual basis and have had a great result with all the projects delivered on time and on cost.
