While running my own startup I taught myself the basics of coding in 2012. Having run out of funds I started working for a swiss startup, the EduPreneurs AG in January 2013 (http://edupreneurs.ch/). In a team of 4 developers we are building a complex CRM and matching platform using Symfony2 complete with Doctrine and Twig, Less and Compass. Students and private Investors looking for a meaningful Investment of their money and/ or time from October 2013 onward will be able to find one another, employees of EduPreneurs AG will use it to handle all their CRM needs.
I am currently based in Cape Town, South Africa and therefore well trained to collaborate with my colleagues using scrumwise, git, hipchat and skype. The Scrum methodology really is the foundation of our teamwork.

I will generally be available from Jan 2014 onward but for the right opportunity I could start in December 2013 already. I am planning to continue working from Cape Town until June 2014 before relocating to Berlin, Germany. For the right opportunity I would be willing to relocate earlier. Working from home would be my first choice, but again, the right opportunity might very well get me into an office.
