Description: The main objective of this project is offsite data maintenance. Main role is to keep the network up-to-date with the regular field updates in the GE Small World PNI GIS environment.Telstra is a leading telecom and information services company in Australia. The main objective of this project is offsite data maintenance. As part of this, it was required to keep Telstra network up-to-date with the regular field updates in the GE Small world TPNI GIS environment. This is an online project and we directly worked in Small world. The data is collected from the client in drawing and scanned maps. The data consists of building information, Address and land base and lead-in, manholes, pits, Hand holes information which was updated in the small world under the scope of cadastre and network. This drawing and scanned maps data is converted in small world and then posted to client server. The maintenance entailed Network Update Advice (NUA), Switch Number Identification (SNI), National Plant Assignment & Management System (NPAMS) and miscellaneous projects.
Telstra has three types of Scopes they are
1. NUA FULLY NETWORK ORIENTED
2. SNI NETWORK ORIENTED about DAs
3. CADASTRE is land base oriented
Responsibilities:
Data maintenance of Telstra network
Performing quality control as per the project specifications and checklist
Adapting new process strategies to the regular data maintenance
Involved in major tasks like:
9.5 Scope- insert the new addresses and street names and update the existing addresses and street names in TPNI as per given source (Telstra physical network inventory) using by small world tools.
21.4 Scope- Investigating about confirmed addresses in TPNI using different Australias government address sites, and we have also using Google maps and Google street view for address confirmation and aligning address and sub addressing as per Cad Standards Updating customer address to FNNs (Full national nos) in NPAMS (National Plant Assignment & Management System ),AXIS and Siebel Systems as per client requirement.
9.06 & 9.16 scopes - capturing property structures and property boundaries in a small world using micro station as per state government site.
NBN Scopes:21.0 ,21.01,21.02,21.02 Cant fix this scopes related to investigation and aligned all Telstra DBORS as per CAD standards. For this scope Telstra client is NBN.
21.3 Scope: In 21.4 Scope unable to determine the requested address in internal and external Telstra search systems and they return records as per cant fix. After 21.4 scope the records will return in 21.3 scope. In 21.3 scope Investigation as same as per 21.4 scope after that we will confirm address through Council/Business Call.
Council call (60.21) as per customer requirement we need to call Australian councils to confirm the address in council website.
60.22 Scope: In this scope we are getting inbound calls. Here we need to provide confirming addressing details to the 3rd party consultant team after that they will provide voice connection.
I have done HPG scopes. We need to provide Fibre/Cable/satellite connectivity for as per customer requirement.
