PROJECTS implemented:
- Have laid the foundation of VMware Tier 3 Support group for AT&T EMEA region in Bratislava - transitioned work from US to EMEA, trained the junior staff
- Have automated many VMware manual tasks with scripts using PowerCLI/Powershell
- Coordinated, planned and implemented migration projects from ESX ver. 4.1 to ver. 5.0 and to 5.1U2 and 5.5 for around 2000 hosts.
- Coordination and implementation of migrating vCenter and the underlying ESX hosts to ver 5.5 in progress, being also point of contact for advice for customer and the engineers: providing technical recommendations and implementation of technical solutions.
- Coordinated and implemented many VMware projects: Provisioning VMs and ESXi hosts according to different requirements of customers,
- Wide enterprise lease roll projects to provision new ESX servers for production (replacement of the old servers)
- Datacenter consolidations and ESX Clusters migrations between vCenters, SAN storage allocations and migrations to ESX 5 clusters, server refresh
- Implemented infrastructures and solutions (server refresh, site integration) with the following
- Implemented Windows Server 2008 (R2) AD environment- Upgrade from Windows
- Conducted internal VMware training for our staff
- Setup of VMware test lab for our AT&T group in Bratislava
- Planned and implemented VCenter Servers and VMware Update Manager upgrades in several sites
