Content Creator/ Copy Writer/ Graphic Designer/ Video Editor

I’m Marvin, I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business administration Management. My first job was General Clerk whose role was to provide clerical assistance to the accountants of the accounting department and did other accounting functions that were essential in making correct balance sheet report. Then I went on to work as an Inbound Customer Care Specialist for a one off project. Here I managed to provide assistance to clients with their issues regarding their account. I’m also a session musician, who provided guitar instrumentations to live and recording sessions to various upcoming artists. My next job had me working in the outsourcing I.T. industry where I did various roles. I was a Data Entry Specialist doing web research and development and during its timeframe, I also did some Graphic Designing and Content Creation, making banner ads, wrote copies for contents and edit some videos needed by the clients. Then I went on to become a Team Head who supervised and managed the team in creating layouts and other job functions. When the company returned to its one-working schedule, the shifting teams were merged and here I became a Content Writer. I wrote different contents such as blogs and articles that ranged from different niche of various sites, including travel, food, entertainment, music, tech news, fitness, health and web tutorials. Another function I did was to post updates on Social Media and also provide SEO works. After the company closed down, I went on to work as homebased. Here my job role was also Content Writer, writing for the company’s different websites and accomplishing to finish four articles within the 24-hour deadline. The niche were almost similar as the previous one I did, there’s tech news, entertainment, music, blogger tutorials, design tools and podcasts, which gained huge following from internet users and readers during its run. I had the opportunity to work as a Video Editor as well and here I managed to create and edit videos used by clients for their promo materials. I did some graphic designing also from time to time, creating banner ads and posters. I also wrote copy and provide some content materials on clients’ websites if there’s no content yet and also did some social media posts for updates which helped gain more traffic and site views that translated to more sales. After the companies I’ve worked at closed down its operations, I went to try freelancing which I did similar roles as my previous job experiences namely graphic designing, video editing, social media posting, seo, content writing as well as backup session musician.  I have knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Sony Vegas, Wordpress, Blogger  and audio tools such as Audacity, Sonar Cakewalk and Protools.
