Both industrial and graphic designer since 2000. I started my career working at Ana Couto Branding & Design, a brand strategy consulting firm in Brasil. Acquired knowledge in strategic planning prior to product development, to achieve differentiation from competitors, and solid experience in developing promotional product projects working for major companies including StarOne, L'Oréal, BAT (British American Tobacco), Tim (Telecom Italia Mobile), Coca-Cola and Gradiente, among others. This experience allowed me to work in partnership with great design studios such as Tecnopop, Tatil Design and Soter Design in many different projects for major clients like Clear Channel, Warner Music, BMG and Souza Cruz. In 2003 I started my own design firm, Miolo Design Inteligente, and received several design awards until 2006 when I left the company. Also in 2006, I founded a new company by myself, MODO design, focusing on integrating design and communication as a tool for placing new brands in business and repositioning traditional brands in the market. In 2015, I started a new business. Along with two partners I have founded DOCA, a coworking space for the creative industry. Since then I have been doing freelance work for DOCA's clients and partners. In 2018, DOCA won the Members' Choice Award for Best Coworking in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
