Project history

Since the year 2000 I have been translating diverse materials in all directions between English, Spanish and Portuguese at client’s request. My translations include books, informative texts aimed at printed or on-line publication, the content of enterprises’ or projects’ websites, financial operations manuals, home appliances’ manuals, academic thesis, cellular phones-related technical manuals and marketing materials, the script of a soap opera and that of an anime series.

During five years, 2001 to 2006, I taught English and Portuguese as foreign languages at different levels to professionals of all ranks, children and university students at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Puerto Ordaz), Universidad Central de Venezuela, the Army’s School of Languages, and languages teaching companies such as Centro Venezolano Americano.

From 2006 to-date, I entered the publishing world by coordinating the newsroom at The Daily Journal and left to go edit and proofread textbooks and diverse literature at Editorial Santillana. After that, I went to manage contents for Motiv-app at MBLM and then published contents at Caracas Chronicles.

Today, I manage sales incentives programs at BI Worldwide Latin America as I translate and edit different materials for private clients at Upwork.
