EXPERIENCE: 

• AS A TRANSLATOR:
I am working as an English–Hungarian translator since 2010. My regular assignments are magazines, fliers, brochures and other small publications. Sometimes I do translation of smaller books too.
I am able to translate from Hungarian to English as well, but I rarely receive this kind of job.

I am doing typesetting jobs as well since 2010, I am pretty much self-trained, meaning, I did not take courses in design, but I have been working with professionals, who taught me a lot. Currently working mostly for an Italy based company, called Kosmos SRL, where I usually do the mutation of English magazines, fliers and other promotional publications into ca. 15 different languages. I also have work connections with a companies in Denmark and the UK, where I do translations and typesetting.
I do not usually work on creating new design layouts, mosty mutations, but I am able to do that too.
I am also comfortable with book typesetting as well, including keeping contact with the publisher, until the book goes to press.

– InDesign (using on a daily bases, available: CS5, CS6, CC)
– Photoshop CS5 (using on a daily bases)

– FontLab (mostly for adjustments of fonts to be able to display special non-ANSI characters of Hungarian, Slavic and other languages)
