Transcriptionist

After 4 years of working at Royal Media Services in Nairobi Kenya as the head of interveiw transcirptioning, I decided to make the jump into a career as a Freelance Transcriber. I am a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP), completing their proofreading courses.. I have experience working with a range of clients, including medical writers, medical communications agencies, software developers and postgraduate students. I can proofread digitally and on hard-copies using the BSI 2005 marks or plain comments. Education: University of Nairobi - BSc (Hons) broadcast production, 2:1 National Institute of Health - Good Clinical Practice Standford University - Writing in the Sciences FAQ Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support.I'm an extremely organized person who is focused on producing results. I'm reliable and I deliver excellent and timely results. I have effective organizational and communication skills. I also have experience in the following areas: Microsoft word, Advanced excel, power point, google docs and English Swahili translation. Speed, accuracy and a keen eye for detail is one of my major strengths.
